What should I bring to my floral consultation?
Your florist will be able to offer more creative suggestions based on the information you provide. They will want to create a spectacular and memorable event for you. Anything you can bring will be beneficial. Pictures that depict what you have in mind are quite helpful. Bring a photo of your dress as well as swatches and photos of your bridesmaids’ dresses. It is important to think about what “style” of wedding you want: simple, grand, formal, casual, contemporary and sleek… It is also helpful to have some idea of your floral budget.
How much should I plan to spend on flowers?
Typically, flowers will be about 9% of your total budget.
When you meet with florists it is helpful to let them know:
1. What are your wedding colors?
2. Where is your ceremony and reception?
3. What is the approximate guest count?
4. Describe your vision in three words.
